Coosje Smid is a songstress and songwriter who’s performance on TV program ‘Better Than Ever’ touched millions of viewers.

Coosje is currently working on her new album. A collection of songs in her native language, Dutch, with long time friend and producer, composer and artist <a href="spotify:artist:3bTrjrXSZ9XiJQ6DWVwkui" data-name="Gerhardt">Gerhardt</a>.
In the past she released a solo album, won a ‘Gouden Kalf’ (Dutch Oscar) for her role in Joy, scored a no.1 hit with her rendition of ‘Fields of Gold’ by <a href="spotify:artist:0Ty63ceoRnnJKVEYP0VQpk" data-name="Sting">Sting</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6fNmOWQzfOVyHLQ2UqUQew" data-name="Eva Cassidy">Eva Cassidy</a> and works the odd job every now and then. After working on a new album in 2015, things went south and Coosje fought the struggle of depression. She’s very openhearted about it and recently recorded a podcast about it with De Hersenstichting.
To keep filling the world with more music and thus love, joy and inspiration, she has decided to release some of the tracks from her unreleased album. 1st release is 70’s ish ‘Love Gone To’. A contemplative search for answers to create a better world. Inside and outside. 'Hold On Tight' is a song to motivate you to keep believing in a great ending, in progression. Released for Xmas with bells and chimes.
And now 'My Everything', a steamy and dark song about the burden and joy of knowing someone has its hooks in you.
