Copper

Copper was founded in the summer of 2013 as a recording project for indie pop/rock songs written by Cincinnati singer/guitarist Peter Obermark. Copper's debut disc--"Fade to White"--was released on June 13, 2014, and was followed by a second album, "The Devil You Know," in 2016.

Copper released its third LP, “Number Six Girls School” on November 1, 2019. Copper’s latest offering features more guitar-driven, melodic songs from Cincinnati singer/guitarist Peter Obermark, in collaboration with co-producers Chris Arduser (Bears, Psychodots, Graveblankets) and Matt Hueneman, guitarist George Cunningham, and vocalists Kelly McCracken and Hallie Menkhaus. Melodic and guitar-driven, by turns rowdy and contemplative, Copper is rock music for thinking people. With sharp and quirky lyrics, sophisticated vocal harmonies and often unconventional song arrangements, Copper is an utterly unique voice on the contemporary music scene.
