Ricardo Coppini, known for his skill in the art of mixing, scratching and rapping live during his performances, started his career as a DJ in the 80’s at Emerald Hill Club and also played in another major club in the 90’s, Over Night Club.
Frequently invited to play in important events, he has in his curriculum, great shows performed in several renowned clubs throughout Brazil. His name is constantly on the annual list of Dee Jays Awards in the country.
Specialist in House Music, he is also a renowned producer who writes, composes, arranges, mixes and masters his own songs. Their first music production was in the 90's, with DJ Tibor, when they formed the duo Ricco Robit, whose the main production, "I Don't Let You Go", was six months among the 30 most played songs in Brazil and also in others countries. In solo career, Coppini is always innovating in his productions and was the winner of “Best Electronic Music Producer of the Year” by DJ Sound Awards in 2010. His songs are released by major labels like Media Records and DJ Sound Music / Universal Music Brazil and are on the world's leading streaming channels.
With an ever-forward look, he was the forerunner of the unusual fusion of mix between electronic music and drum percussion from a famous Brazilian carnival school called Mangueira. In partnership with Sambista Ivo Meirelles and Funk'n Lata Band, they went through the main capitals of Brazil and established this trend in the country.
