Copy, aka San Francisco based producer Marius Libman, specializes in layered, syncopated and melodic electronic music.
His first 4 albums are largely uptempo collections of lush, frayed electro-pop melded with chiptune, hip hop, and less genre-defined dance floor-centric excursions. But Chosen Atmospheric Pieces, Copy's most recent album, is a marked departure, featuring warm, enveloping synth tones and undulating textures that interplay with detailed percussive layers to create dark, haunting, bass-heavy and melancholic soundscapes.
