Corey Laury is a rapper, producer, and open book that is slowly changing the industry. He got into music at eight years old and started making beats soon after, eventually gaining recognition for his Adult Swim Bump beat series. His first project was 2014’s Control and he followed up with Ink in 2016. After dealing with some traumatic mental health issues, he released a slew of producer projects before finally coming out with his long-awaited artist studio album, Preston & Wolfe, in 2020.
Laury’s music is a true reflection of how he’s gotten to this point through all of his trials and tribulations. As he prepares for his next era, one that puts all of his skills to the test, he wants listeners to realize the extent of who they are by focusing on the internal of artistry versus the external. It’s helped him discover who he is and now he wants his listeners to learn who they are too.
