Corey Tyler is a musician from Louisville, Kentucky. He was exposed to music at a very early age primarily from his grandparents, Harold and Betty Thom, who formed the bluegrass/country rock group "The Cumberlands" in the late 1960's. He has a wide range of influences spanning from Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan to Metallica, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Roger Clyne and Pearl Jam. Corey moved from Louisville to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2008 and was involved with a few bands (Knight Drive and The Zero Dirt Kings) but he always kept up his solo act. After moving back to Louisville in 2015 Corey recorded and produced his EP "City of Gold" which was released in the spring of 2018. He's currently working on new material for a full album. In the meantime you can catch him playing around Louisville and Southern Indiana. For booking information please contact ct6string@gmail.com.
