Corie Little

Whenever you hear “Hip Hop or “Rap” music, you imagine all of the things that could go wrong with the culture. They will most likely mention the drugs, gangs, killings and a list of other negative things. Well, think again! Corie Little is creative, innovative and imaginative. His music is versatile, uplifting, witty and good for the ears of listeners. When asked why he would create a song about everything he doesn’t stand by, Corie Little says “It’s not a matter of glorification; it’s simply where we live.” Corie Little belief is that if he can shed light on to a dim situation, he can ignite the brains of the kids that follow. It’s no secret that Corie Little is out to contribute to change and with songs like “Cherry Hill Story” and “Bemore” he just wishes to spark the kids to a great understanding of what needs to be done throughout their lives. He has been a role model to the youth and his peers by expressing change and elevation through his music since 2010 when he released his first mixtape “Lightz Plz.” Corie Little has been featured on 92Q Jams, DMV Jams, and Netflix. Since Corie Little has been rapping, he has performed at many venues some including The Baltimore AFRAM and The Cherry Hill Festival.
