Cortex Vortex combine Psychedelic, Stoner, Prog and Goth Rock to a unique soundscape.
Kevin Schweikert began looking for members for a new band in 2022. Friedemann Baumgärtel quickly found himself as a drummer. Levin Bormann and Thore Röben joined in 2023.
Later Friedemann left the band for lack of time, and since then Cortex Vortex have been searching for a new drummer.
Cortex Vortex represent a mixture of traditional and modern elements and mix psychedelic, post and prog rock to create an independent sound.
In October 2023 they released their first single I See Faces on YouTube which later got on all streaming services in December 2023. They are currently recording their first album.
Cortex Vortex' music is mixed by Fairycore Studio.
