Cory Wallace

Cory Wallace was born in the city known for its musical heritage New Orleans, Louisiana. He started singing at the tender age of 8 at local churches and talent shows. He was heavily influenced by Boyz 2 Men, Brian McKnight, Johnny Gill and many other artists known for songs that truly touch the heart. As a teenager he was singing in the group, “The Men of Intimacy” who opened for Biz Markie, Busta Rhymes and was honored to perform on Showtime at the Apollo.
Then Cory embarked on a solo career in Miami, Florida where he had success with a song hitting heavy rotation on HOT105FM and was honored to open for several national artist including his idol Brian McKnight. His voice is filled with charisma, an endearing smile and a sound that is very soulful and reminiscent of his idols.
As his career was taking off, personal tragedy hit in the form of Hurricane Katrina which forced his son to come live with him resulting in Cory taking a hiatus from music.
Cory is now back at his passion writing and singing deeply heartfelt songs that you can feel when he’s singing. His hobbies include song writing, reading, playing basketball, and traveling.
