'Songs For The Soulless' 08/08/25!
Cosmic Algorithm is an alternative rock band, taking inspiration from the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:12Chz98pHFMPJEknJQMWvI" data-name="Muse">Muse</a> amongst others. The band consists of three members: James Killian- Lead Guitarist and Vocalist, Tom Naylor- Bassist, and Drummer and Cian Roach- Producer
Cosmic Algorithm's debut album <a href="spotify:album:7BeFs261qacSNFNmYDOEsa" data-name="Incursion">Incursion</a> featured the fan favourite songs, Destiny and Revolution which quickly became the back bone to their discography. Recorded in the latter half of 2022 and early 2023, the album gave fans a taste of what was to come.
During the summer of 2023, the band came back to write <a href="spotify:album:1BCWfw0bPBRnD31cPBMsO7" data-name="End Of All Things">End Of All Things</a> which was a smaller, but more powerful EP. This EP featured the track <a href="spotify:track:4qg61K3BJhJo42Uqnh9Hew" data-name="Fate - 2023 Remastered Version">Fate - 2023 Remastered Version</a>, which is by far the band's most popular song. The EP saw an incredible improvement in recording quality and song writing and was a sort of introduction for the next album.
Moving into September 2023, production on the band's long awaited second album, Tragedy began. This album is by far the absolute best of Cosmic Algorithm, moving away from a rock heavy majority track list to a more calm, chill vibe but still with hints of previous works most noticeable on the opening track <a href="spotify:track:38tVoKrFEZG9FCi6CCPLkV" data-name="You Don't Know">You Don't Know</a>. This album featured the ever popular tracks <a href="spotify:track:1DsHFWrdwrcgO7FdBq7T5X" data-name="If You Need Me">If You Need Me</a> and <a href="spotify:track:3IX4HL5LpSJSBz9WmYuodS" data-name="Unmet Expectations">Unmet Expectations</a>, which again, are the back bone of their discography. The album had a dominant message of hopelessness and despair and themes of suicide can be heard throughout. Listen now!
