While attending the University of Michigan, $cottie Pimpin' gained traction with his track "Hoochie Mane". It was during this time that he had a profound experience that changed his perspective on life and music. After college, $cottie Pimpin' moved back to NY to work at Plug Studios, where he self-taught himself audio engineering and refined his talents while helping others do the same. With a love for songwriting, he explores different sounds and styles in his music, making no two songs sound the same.
