Crane

Crane is a retro-pop / rock band founded in 2002 by songwriter / guitarist Phil Antognini & Singer-Songwriter / guitarist Sascha Mathys. Their debut album « The legendary style ep » was released in 2003 and critically acclaimed as «  Sophisticated Pop Music » Several singles followed in 2005 & 2006. Their second album « Random Precision «  came out in 2014 and featured the hitsingles « Endless Summer » & « Weekend ». Between 2017 & 2020, Crane recorded several new songs like « Everything must fall » and « Poetic Verses » and released the album « Off the record » which also features previously unreleased versions and remixes of songs from the last decade. In 2023 Crane released their 4th album “Wave after wave” a fresh new collection of retro-pop songs with a psychedelic touch such as “High”, “Royal Blue” or “Give me strength”, a soulful rendition of Eric Clapton’s 1974 original. Crane is currently working on their 5th album and has already released the singles “Holy Grail” and “Torrents of Love” in 2024. On March 15th 2025 the new single “Land of ice & snow” will be released featuring piano legend Lewis Stephens on hammond organ.
