Founded as an international studio project in 2019 by drummer Sam Stone (ex-Thoracopagus) and guitarist Andrea Maggioni, under the name ‘Degloving’, they changed their name to ‘Cranial Torment’ with the entry of Tristan Groves formerly vocalist in Dimensional Decay, and independently released their first single ‘Meth Fueled Mutilation’ through Slam Worldwide. After signing the contract with the newly formed Vile Tapes Records, Sam Stone left the band for personal reasons, leaving his place to Riccardo Lolli, and in May 2021 they released their debut EP ‘Blood Dome’ in CD and limited edition Digipack format. Following a few months of work on new songs, Andrea and Riccardo decided to recruit members from their own town to facilitate the work and perform live, so in 2024 the entry of Daniele Buzzanca to replace Tristan Groves was made official and in 2025 the second guitarist Tommaso Marianello joined the band.
