Creekstar's Car is the brainchild of Mati Ilic. The quintet's home base of San Francisco provides profound inspiration for the band, comprised of a new roommate met by chance (Colin McKay, lead guitar) and other friends (Adam Hecht on bass, Chris Simmons on drums, Jill Debrito on keys) met on the San Francisco open mic circuit. They take inspiration from the various bands that fuel their continuing, growing love for music, alongside past homes across the country, connections with friends and fans, and the experiences that have led them to this moment.
