Formed in 1991, CRIMINAL has long been a leading force in South American metal. Rising from the ashes of the influential Pentagram (Chile), they made their live debut supporting Kreator when they were the first international extreme metal band to play Chile. Signed to major label BMG quickly after, their first two albums went on to sell in excess of 10,000 copies each in Chile alone. Over the years, CRIMINAL have continued to dominate in the live arena, notching up tours across South and North America, as well as supporting the likes of Six Feet Under, Lamb of God and Brujeria in Europe, taking part in main European festivals such as Wacken, Bloodstock and Summer Breeze, and playing in front of 55,000 fans as direct support to Metallica in their home town of Santiago. CRIMINAL are currently preparing to release their ninth full length album, Sacrificio, via Metal Blade.
