Cris Lord

Cris Lord is a Trinidad-born, Christian recording artist. Birthed into a musical family, his exposure to music came at an early age. He spent much of his childhood singing as his mother taught him, often having to stand next to the church podium because standing behind it would completely block him from vision.
Later on, he felt a strong calling to music ministry but he enrolled in University, hoping to pursue his other dream of becoming an Engineer. But he spent more time playing for campus concerts than on lab assignments. School was never hard for him, but he found it especially difficult to focus. His heart was elsewhere. So he made the life-changing decision to leave University, get a job and start cultivating his craft. With the help of long-time schoolmate and producer, AK1L, he focused on investing in his talent to become a credible recording artist and performer. After years of private work, Cris is bringing his first offering to light with his debut EP, SeeKR.

"I think the set of songs I'm speaking through now are snapshots of conversations with God about our relationship that capture the real truth of the way he thinks of and acts toward me.
These snapshots take place in a time where I'm beginning to really notice and accept Who He is, who I am... and the incredible truth that he loves me despite those realities.
I'm hoping that, in sharing them, other people will find help in navigating their own realities... and find hope and change and life..."
