Cris Sky

Chris Benitez, in 2009 started going by the name Cris Sky to represent the persona, in his multi textured, one of a kind, solo music project. From the sparkly distorted chords that are the backbone of the alternative rock sound, to the more mystical and keyboard driven Pop Rock. It is the vocal melodies and spiritually charged poetic styled lyrics that lead the way no matter what production outfit they find themselves in. Since 2005, the Texas native has released over 100 original songs, that includes 8 full length albums, 2 EPs, 1 soundtrack, and many singles. In 2017 Cris released a children’s audio story by the name of “Star Peaches - Along a Long Countryside Dirt Road”, with voices, music, and artwork. Musically, Cris has created a sound that weaves frantically through its own influences, sometimes even within one song. To listen to Cris Sky is to pin ball around the music the singer loves. Crafting songs that bounce the influences of U2, Green Day, David Bowie, Tori Amos, Iron Maiden, Guns n Roses, and Michael Jackson, could leave anyone disorientated. Yet Cris manages to do this in a way that brings forth its own fruit.
