Cristian Jermane

Cristian Jermane was born in North London, to English and Jamaican parents. His love of soul music began as early as two years old, when he discovered his father’s 60s - 80s soul record collection and watched Motown’s 25th anniversary show for the first time. Cristian cites artists such as Prince, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson to be his greatest musical influences, while also drawing inspiration from 90’s Hip-Hop and current chart music.

Cristian Jermane sings, raps, writes and produces his songs; contributing guitar and analog synthesizer parts to build his sound. He presents his love of vintage soul in a contemporary way; integrating funk, disco, dance, rock & hip-hop nuances, revealing his sheer love for music. As a producer, Cristian always looks for new sounds and experiments with anything; from video game soundtracks to film score, nothing is off limits, but everything seems to carry his signature secret ingredient sound. His lyrics draw from his real life experiences of love, loss, breaking free from an underprivileged background and finding faith.

Cristian aspires to follow in the footsteps of the great artist/producers such as Prince, Babyface, Leon Ware, & Pharrell.
