Within their first 5 month as a band, the north-east lads have played sold out shows across the United Kingdom and Scotland, gained a youthful reputation and landed their debut EP “No Ball Games”.
Finding a place alongside Alt/Punk/Indie-rock bands proves that CRITCH are here for a while.
With over countless years of work and previous discographies, the northern quartet have played within many different projects and individually gained a chained love for the alternative music scene.
Reformed from frontman James Critchlow and drummer Adam Crookes’s previous work of “Precious Ink” which garnered national recognition and popularity; with supporting the the likes of Aziz Ibriham / Ex-Stone Roses guitarist, their experience and carnivalesque presence has shaped their live figure as a whole entourage; James Critchlow, Adam Crookes, Connor Dixon and Bailey Kettell.
Since the name “CRITCH” was heard, their local home of Sunderland has gave them courage and determination to reach further nationally - having their first gig under the name in Manchester in May 2025 at After All
Festival in the heart of Manchester, the group have travelled national and branched into Scotland to spread their alternative sound. Having praise from the likes of SNAYX and Jools, their dedication is only rising and their enthusiasm shows no difference.
CRITCH is aspiring and festival-ready for the year of 2026, expect their name in some major festival lineups across the year.
