Critical King

Born in Nairobi, Kenya, in 1999, Rodgers Otieno Odhiambo, best known by his stage moniker Critical King alias 'Shibaa,' is a talented singer-songwriter, recording artist, and a successful businessman.

Every time he launches a new music project, he leaves his fans satisfied, exactly like his Swahili moniker “Shibaa" specifies, proving that he is unquestionably a King that the music scene critically needs.

Critical King has demonstrated his musical diversity with the original concepts he has presented t hrough his pen game, and his voice is also a great asset.

He began his musical career in 2020 and, in the middle of 2021, released “God First,” a body of work that included a number of spiritual songs.

Shibaa had a great year in 2022. He began by releasing “Take it Slow,” his first joint effort, with the talented Real Seko (from EELAM Entertainment). The duo played numerous performances in their area after the song earned widespread acclaim from nations all over the world. His debut single, “Lavender,” was released after “Take it Slow.” A real couple who had split up was brought back together by the song, demonstrating how King’s music truly transforms lives. The girl’s initial name, in an ironic way, is also Lavender.

Then in September of that same year, his second single, “Commando,” was published. The lyrics of the song exhort individuals who are in love to stand by their loved ones and hold on no matter what.
