Crowcatcher

Crowcatcher, the stage name of Tim Kraaijvanger, is a Dutch electronic music producer from Ouddorp, The Netherlands. Known for his uptempo, instrumental house music, Crowcatcher creates tracks that are both energetic and emotive, blending pulsating rhythms with captivating melodies.

In 2023, Tim experienced a life-changing event when he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while out for a run. This experience profoundly impacted him, inspiring him to channel his emotions and recovery journey into music production. The result is his debut album, Chain of Survival. “Surviving a cardiac arrest outside of a hospital setting with no one around is rare,” Tim reflects. “A strong chain of survival is crucial in such situations, and I was incredibly fortunate.”

Chain of Survival features some of Crowcatcher’s most popular tracks, including the hits “Ophelia” and “Dragon.” One standout track, the uplifting tenth song titled “Ode to ICU,” is a heartfelt tribute to the ICU nurses who cared for him during his most vulnerable moments. “I will forever be grateful to them,” Tim says. In “Cinque Terre,” Tim dances through fond memories of vacations in Italy, while “I Need to Jump in Craters” captures those euphoric moments when everything seems to fall perfectly into place. “Life is beautiful and deserves to be celebrated!”
