One of Colombia's most popular bands, Cuarteto Imperial, disbanded when vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Miguel Cejas was reborn as a Christian and embarked on an evangelistic ministry in 1998. Accordion, piano and keyboards player Gerald Gros and bass player Fredy Toro have continued to work with Cejas on his solo projects.

Formed in the 1970s, Cuarteto Imperial built a strong following with its dance-inspiring mix of cambia, salsa, merengue, flamenco and ballads. ~ Craig Harris, Rovi
