Cubed

Cubed is an Australian based electronic music producer who works over a multitude of different styles and genres within the electronic music category. They produce their work mainly with the use of Ableton Live, a popular industry standard D.A.W.

The journey began in late 2013. Coming from a background of both contemporary and jazz performances, the shift into electronic music was inspired by the small works they had been quietly creating over the years. After a few years of refining their skillset, and learning new techniques, their first noteable EP "Strings Attached" was released in 2016. This marked a defining moment in their musical career; the release of a cinematic EP which showcased 4 unique and stylized songs.

After a breif hiatus inbetween 2017 and 2018, Cubed has returned with their new full length LP titled "The Ambients"- an album which explores a more personal style with tracks that have been under construction for over a year.

Recently, they've made a shift towards live music and have begun to pop up around their local area with multiple live performances. There is still more to come.

Cubed has worked with various other artists, including Australian based producers <a href="spotify:artist:3cWOwptrfEuGMJ2cM7ipc3" data-name="KLP">KLP</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:7eYVLxvKOQ3w2BAE10ElgF" data-name="Taka Perry">Taka Perry</a>. Outside of collaborations and discussions, a major influence to their style over the years has been <a href="spotify:artist:4uFZsG1vXrPcvnZ4iSQyrx" data-name="C418">C418</a>.
