Cusapepi is an indie‑folk‑rock project from Melbourne, Australia, blending acoustic storytelling with guitar‑driven energy. The songs move between reflective folk and blues‑tinged grit, shaped by fingerstyle guitar, coastal calm & lived experience.

Cusapepi formed March 2024, the guys had never played in a band before their coming together, which was quite incidental and unexpected, they say that having formed a band later in life, the songwriting takes inspiration from over 5 decades of lived musical influence. The music of our lives, where the underlying musical catalogue is tremendous, we feel energized by the sounds and cultural transformations that have occurred over time. Music is more than just the sound, it represents the vibe, the essence of the period. It drives fashion, art & the emotions of our lives.

The band describes their music as multi genre rock, all our songs are quite different and varied inspired by a lifetime of lived experience across the decades heavily influenced by the Aussie rock of the 70s & 80s they have set no limits on what they can achieve with a strong back catalogue of original songs to draw from. Cusapepi are a fully Independent Artists writing, Performing, Producing their music and media content.
