Cyllenian emerged from a dream shaped by Jean-Michel Jarre's groundbreaking "Concerts in China." Their unique sound drops chill vibes – think Enigma and Delerium – amidst rhythmic Trance and EDM backdrops inspired by the likes of Armin van Buuren and Oceanlab.
Named after the reputed birthplace of the Roman deity Mercury, Cyllenian’s wide, ambient soundscapes leisurely leave their Earthly beginnings to embark on a voyage that stretches from the scorched craters of Mercury to the icy chill of Jupiter's moon Cyllene. (Ehh -- drama much?)
The band presently consists of its natively Dutch, US-based founder who writes and publishes each release. Strap up, and enjoy the ride!
