Cyril Giroux is a Paris-based composer working across theatre and song.
Self-taught, he has written music for stages throughout France, including the Comédie-Française, Théâtre Antoine, Théâtre Montparnasse and Théâtre des Mathurins, collaborating with directors such as Muriel Mayette, Christophe Lidon and Olivier Solivérès.
His work moves freely between orchestral writing and songwriting, with a strong sense of narrative and atmosphere. He has arranged and orchestrated music for ensembles including the Orchestre Pasdeloup and the English Session Orchestra, developing a distinctive voice rooted in strings, piano and the human voice.
Alongside his theatrical work, Cyril also writes songs inspired by vintage French and Italian pop. His music blends orchestral colours with a timeless pop sensibility, looking toward the past not as a reference, but as a living language.
