D Johar is endowed with a distinctive voice and a resilient spirit. Besides his singing and performing career, he is a prolific songwriter, composer, music producer, disc jockey, bibliophile and a philanthropist.
Born Diljeet Singh Johar in Ghaziabad - India, D Johar had a natural inclination to dance, his mother was quick to spot and nurture his talent. He began performing on stage at the age of 4 and became involved in hip-hop during the late '90s, performing at house parties and clubs at his hometown.
At the age of 14, he began his tryst with music and during teenage, he did some minor studio work. By 20 was performing under the stage name of KrushR. For nearly five years, he has produced music under various stage names for upcoming and new artists. In the year 2020, he began performing under the current moniker. Though his first single was "Chal Daru Peetein Hai" for which he also lent the music, he considers "Aag Lagaye" as his debut as a singer.
He believes in constant innovation and evolution and with his love for garnering knowledge, he continues to add more skills to his repository. He is interested in sharing the art of music with underprivileged children and help them gain skillful employment.
