D22 Xerxes, born Darius H. Whindleton has a very interesting past with music, and past in general.
D22 Xerxes grew up in a small town in Washington State known as Yelm, and in his youth worked under the name Dookie Knuts as a SoundCloud Rapper of sorts. Never really taking his music seriously he made meme rap songs inspired by Lil Barnacle. Really just made music as a hobby, but now has turned over a new leaf with his first release Pain is What I've Been Given.
Working on the album since he hit the age 19 with songs Do You Know Who You Are Yelling At?, & Problem Solver. A good portion of the instrumental’s of the album was actually streamed on Twitch found at twitch.tv/dookie_knuts. The album was made as a pure outlet, with depressing themes such as self harm, suicidal thoughts, and loneliness accompanied by pure chaotic, emotion driven instrumentals. Pain is What I've Been Given can be a hard pill to digest, but as illustrated throughout it; so can being alive on Earth.
