South Coast, UK artist and producer D3B is carving out a distinctive sound at the intersection of R&B, pop and UK dance music, blending emotive, instantly memorable toplines with high energy electronic production. Dedicated to his late mother, Deb, the project is rooted in love, admiration and a desire to turn personal emotion into music that connects.
As part of a new wave of UK artists blurring the lines between songwriting and the dancefloor, D3B brings together the infectious energy of club music with the melody and feeling of contemporary R&B and pop. Drawing on influences such as stutter house and speed garage, his sound pairs forward thinking production with vocal led songwriting and crossover appeal. Think Jake Jepson meets Oscar Mêd K, with heartfelt songwriting meeting club-focused production.
Alongside developing his own artist project, D3B has built strong creative relationships with artists including HAVEN. and Waypoint, collaborating across writing and production while continuing to expand his sound and wider creative network. With an instinct for memorable melodies, emotionally driven songwriting and production built to move a dancefloor, D3B is beginning to generate a reaction that extends beyond the size of his current audience. As he continues to push the boundaries between R&B, pop and electronic music, D3B is establishing himself as one of the South Coast’s artists to watch.
