Da Bomb was a very short lived side project by Blank & Jones back in 1997. They only released one track under this name: "The Original“. It is a very energetic Hip-House track which was a fresh new style with fellow artists like DJ Supreme, Porn Kings, Klubbheads and DJ Disco. "The Original“ was picked by non other than Culture Club’s own Boy George, who played it out as a white label in 1997. Moby heard the track and loved it. He decided to ask Blank & Jones for a Remix in the Da Bomb style for his version of the legendary James Bond Theme. Mute Records and Moby liked the Da Bomb Remix so much that they even re-cut the music video for it and played the whole clip backwards. Furthermore Blank & Jones remixed under the Da Bomb name various big acts like Yello, Hardfloor, Bellini, Future Breeze and Stephan Remmler’s re-recording of Trio’s Hit "Da Da Da“. The Da Bomb project was folded after the start of the worldwide success of the main project Blank & Jones.
