Multi-Platinum Selling Artist,Johan Sifiso Sithebe, better known by his stage name DaMabusa, is a South African vocalist, record label owner, and music composer. Born in Kwamhlanga, Mpumalanga, DaMabusa's music career began in 2007 as a member of a clap and tap choir. He later established his own choir in 2019, further developing his skills as a musician and entrepreneur.
DaMabusa's breakthrough came in 2022 with the release of his debut single, "Umama Owangizalayo," which achieved 3x gold sales and set his music career on the right path as an independent artist. He subsequently released an EP titled "Izipho" in November 2022, followed by a single, "Syeke," before launching his own record label.
As an independent artist, DaMabusa has released several successful tracks, including "Umama Owangizalayo 2.0 Piano Remix" and "Ithuba," which achieved platinum sales under his label. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with notable artists such as Shebeshxt, Lungelo Hlongwane, Mduduzi Ncube, Leon Lee, as well as international features with Nutty O and Rayvanny.
