Da Revolution, born as Mischa Cinar, grew up on the west side of Langendreer in Bochum, Germany.
He was introduced to hip-hop at a young age and influenced by artists like Samy Deluxe, Tupac or Eminem, he also wanted to say something, address problems and express emotions. As a teenager he started making beats, writing lyrics and it wasn't long before producing music became his burning passion.
The first recordings were taken 2005 in the basement of his best friend Steff, with whom he started rapping back then. They took part in some local gigs, including the Hip-Hop Falken-Jam against racism and xenophobia in Gelsenkirchen. This was followed by a one-year collaboration with the Guru-Music-School from Bochum in 2006. After that, life catches up with Da Rev and he has to deal with some problems that will hold him back for a while.
But his passion for music never let him go and after a long time of saving he was able to set up his own home recording studio in 2019. Since then he has been responsible for the production of new projects there and in order to work professionally in the audio sector, he decided in 2022 to study audio engineering at the SAE Institute in Bochum.
Get ready for a unique sound that was shaped by the golden age of hip-hop!
