Dad Shirt is the moniker of Los Angeles born musician and producer Josh Larson. Named for his fondness for colorfully patterned button ups, Dad Shirt is a Lo-Fi/Hi-Fi psychedelic dream baby that quickly becomes over the top and out of control. Pop-laden hooks wrangle chaotic melodies back into reality while punchy drums and wispy synth lines contribute to an all-but-subtle sonic soundscape. Raised on pure unadulterated hard 80s dad rock and influenced by modern giants like Tame Impala and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Dad Shirt is always at the end of a hot grill waiting to serve up something fresh, tender, and juicy.
