Born in Edmonton, Alberta. Donovan Sauvé grew up with a family of musicians. Inspired from music at a young age, Donovan was introduced to hip hop, 2 pac was his most influential artists because of the story's in his lyrics. As he aged he started getting into poetry which grew into writing lyrics at a young age. When Donovan was a teenager his life took a turn, when he met a certain someone, who ended up being a big part of his life..It was young love. Donovan would express himself through lyrics he wrote for her.. he would rap and sing to her, and would freestyle at parties..she would always tell him things like, "you're soo talented", and "you're going to make it somewhere", and such. One day tragedy struck which changed his life forever.. Donovan received a call one morning, It was his girlfriend's mother, She told Donovan that his girlfriend passed away in a car accident due to drunk driving. And he was devastated.. he gave up on life and turned to the streets, and alcoholism. Putting himself in bad situations he just wanted to be with her again..not too much later Donovans father also passed away. Feeling lost in life he wandered aimlessly..years later, he got a message on Facebook from a a girl who asked where he was from. After a short conversation,he found out that she was his girlfriend's best friend. And that she would always brag about his talent. Which brought him here.
