Actor and Alt Songwriter, Eric Miron known by his stage name dadbOdd leads two lives and documents them both.

Eric Miron is the artist. On Youtube, Miron showcases his strategies for maintaining a positive mindset, his love of all things music and his journey as an independent artist and single father.

Malik is the character. In 2015, Miron created Malik as a way to work through personal demons. Miron portrays Malik on screen and on record in what he calls Sonic Storytelling. Miron uses his albums to explore character development in the lyrics and creates serialized music videos to establish plot. He portrays Malik and brings the fans along on his journey.

His album Malik, introduces the audience to a man struggling with addiction and trauma. Malik’s poor choices become progressively worse culminating with him losing his wife and son.

In Season 2, Miron explores the perspective of Malik's wife on his EP entitled Manny.

Miron is currently working on his second album. In season 3, he will continue to explore Malik and also introduce a character named The Fat Jean Snow; an independent rapper navigating self doubt and mental health.

Miron showcases the relationship between the two characters on his Tik Tok and IG accounts by creating comedic sketches. Think Seinfeld meets Trailer Park bOys, Miron creates short conversations where the two discuss life and music.
