Having come all the way from the stage, DADDY is a music band, playing instruments together in pre-organised patterns and rhythms in order to make people clap after the playing has finished. Recently venturing into the world of recorded instrument-playing, their music has been described as 'funk'. DADDY-ESQUE is rumoured to have been written not by man, but instead chorused through the winds of ancient China in the Jiangsu province. It was just fortunate that founding members of the band DADDY were there to hear it and translate the intoxicating melodies of times gone by into a commercial funk tune filled with fat horn lines, naughty riffs and ripping solos.
