Daisy is a noisy guitar pop band formed in Athens, Ga., in 1989 by David Zwart, Matt Hanson, Jeff Matthews and Andres Solar.
In 1992, Daisy released its first single, "The Daisy Group sings the Hum of Life", produced by Michael Stipe, to favorable reviews. Daisy released a second single, "Brave Mr. Real/My Dog Died", later that year.
