Dak Matthew is a Denver based solo artist and multi-instrumentalist whose focus is around indie and bedroom pop genres. After having made his first album solely using GarageBand on his iPad, he found a love and passion for creating music. Dak plans to continue creating and producing music as long as he can.
“I like to think that I gain my inspiration from my surroundings, past experience’s, and emotions. The combination of these three help my creative process flourish almost like a painter’s paint on canvas.” Dak’s dream is to be on the same stage as artists like @Tame impala, @Mac Demarco, and @Khruangbin.”
Growing up, Dak was raised on The Blues and Rock n Roll, often giving credit to his parents for his love of music. His music career was kicked off in fifth grade, playing saxophone till he graduated high school.
