Dallas Alexander is an Alberta-born, country inspired singer-songwriter. A Canadian military veteran, he was raised on Fishing Lake Metis Settlement. His backwoods, Canadian-Metis upbringing shine through in the stories that he tells through his music. Inspired by the country music greats, such as, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, and Jamey Johnson, Dallas also finds strong influence in modern artists, such as, Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks, and the Turnpike Troubadours.
Dallas Alexander, recently retired from the Canadian Armed Forces Special Operations (JTF2) after an impressive 17 yr career. He knew early on what he wanted to do with his military career and went for it. He spent the majority of his career as a Sniper with numerous overseas deployments under his belt. Dallas helped lead the team that holds the world record for the longest confirmed kill shot in military history, at a staggering distance of 3,540 meters, which holds strong today.
