DaMara Luv

I am 24-year-old artist based in Dallas, Texas which is where I was born and raised. I have done music for as long as I can remember. My first memory with doing music was my mother teaching me how to sing my first church solo. I was in the school choir in elementary all the way to my Junior year in college. I am one of many talents, so it was very difficult for me to locate the talent that I wanted to do forever. I was in Show choir and Acapella choir in high school while also doing cosmetology. I had a lot on my plate that time since I loved to do hair as well as sing. I then had to choose which one God called me to do for my future and that was music. I then pursued my dream at Texas A&M University-Commerce and became a Music Major for music education. I did a lot of music performances while singing in several different languages such as French, German, and Latin. I did not have the best experience while being a Music Major because I could not understand why I was not happy with music anymore. I then became a Music Minor my Junior year and eventually dropped it all together and graduated with my Bachelor of Social and Master of Social Work. Two years after graduating college I found my love for music again once getting in the studio to record "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys. Now I have finally put out my first Single on all platforms "Over You" and I have dropped my very first EP Toxic Luv on all platforms. Stay tuned for more music that’s on the way Luv’s 💕
