Damask Green is the recording name of Seb Pidgeon, based in St Albans, UK. Formerly of untitled1961 and <a href="spotify:artist:2GeTDeWgJYor0pLJgc3bXd" data-name="Revere">Revere</a> and currently of <a href="spotify:artist:48X0cR25hqdgiNicpXSut7" data-name="Plainbow">Plainbow</a>. Taking influence from slowcore, ambient, indie folk, and the twinkling guitars of bands like <a href="spotify:artist:5FwydyGVcsQllnM4xM6jw4" data-name="American Football">American Football</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0YrtvWJMgSdVrk3SfNjTbx" data-name="Death Cab for Cutie">Death Cab for Cutie</a>, Seb started working on music that would become Damask Green in 2012, releasing the debut EP Remnants in Autumn 2017. Wintery ambient piece Midwinter Hymn was released in late 2020 with debut full-length Outer Spaces following in early 2021. Another ambient piece, Requiem, was released in 2022. Two new singles, the jangly Remember The Before, and darker ballad The Days Were Dark And The Nights Were Darker Still released in Autumn 2024.
