Damnation started at the beginning of 2024, and was created by Joris (drums) and Mika (lead guitar) with the purpose of playing old school groove metal songs. In early days Seger and Tjalle (Violent Silence) joined to form the first complete entity, influencing the Damnation sound into the thrash metal genre. As Seger and Tjalle left, Jan (bass) and Manu (vocals) replaced the brothers to put them on the path towards development of their first songs and album.
