Together, they write sharp, sly, emotionally-charged pop songs with a clean conscience and a filthy imagination. At the centre is DAMSEL - a chaotic, charismatic anti-heroine trying to outrun her twenties in a world of poor choices and great outfits.
DAMSEL is part club wife, part child of the comedown. Her songs blend heartbreak with hedonism, cheap wine with sacred visions, mystery pills and cheese Twisties. Some tracks veer toward pop purity, others dive headfirst into ghetto-tech, breakbeat, and dubstep. What holds them together is her story: one of bad ideas, low-stakes doom, and the occasional flash of redemption - or at least a very stylish collapse.
