DAN G MARKS besteht aus den DJ Duo Daniel und Markus Gehrke.
Die beiden gebürtigen Hannoveraner zogen 2001 nach Mannheim und fanden dort ihre neue Wahlheimat.Daniel der ältere Bruder, legte damals schon im Bundesland Niedersachsen in mehreren Clubs auf.Nachdem er nach Mannheim gezogen ist, bekam er ein Gig auf der Fast and the Furious Party in Viernheim Rhein-Neckar-Zentrum.Unteranderen durch ein Kollege legte er in der Diskothek Colosseum in Polen auf.Nach abgeschlossener Familienplanung, nahmen sich die beiden Brüder 2019 den Musikprojekt DAN G MARKS an.
Der Projektname besteht aus den beiden Vornamen und Nachnamen.
Musikalisch legt das DJ Duo Elektropop,EDM,Deep House,Trance,Dance wobei die Musik von den beiden DJs der Elektronischen Tanzmusik zuzuordnen ist.
