Dan Rizo es un proyecto de regional mexicano que busca reinventar y unificar el sonido que muchos conocen como Sad Sierreño. Este subgénero, marcado por la nostalgia y el sentimiento, fue impulsado por artistas como Ariel Camacho, Virlán García, Jovanny Cadena Ulices Chaidez, etcétera. Más tarde, exponentes como Junior H, Eslabón Armado, Dannylux entre otros le dieron un toque más urbano y fresco, pero la esencia original se ha ido perdiendo, y aún se le sigue denominando incorrectamente Sad Sierreño.
Aquí es donde entra en escena Dan Rizo con el proyecto de RomantiCorridos, un movimiento que busca recuperar la melancolía y la pasión del género, pero con una identidad renovada.
