Danatron started as a punk rocker, and while the years have mellowed him, that raw energy still pulses through his music. His songs span from deeply personal experiences to pure fiction, each carrying meaning and inviting interpretation. What began as a personal outlet has evolved into a collection meant to be shared—a keepsake for his kids and family, and a connection for anyone who resonates with the music.
Danatron extends a special thanks to his kids for inspiring many of these songs, and to his wife for her brutally honest feedback, especially when it stings. A huge shout-out goes to his good friend Brian, whose idea sparked Don’t Touch the Tailgate and contributed to some of its lyrics.
On the engineering side, Jerry Streeter helped bring Tailgate and Mr. Enough to life with marimba, piano, organ, and some guitar additions. More recently, Pierre Ferguson has engineered the new songs at Foundry Studios, plays bass, contributed drum programming and synthesizer elements helping to shape the sound of his new upcoming album “Proof that I’m still Here” which will be released in 2026.
