Dandarah emerges as a Garage Rock/Pop from Malang, Indonesia, where its inception was fueled by the collective passion. Anchored by the presence of Widyan 'Idut' Afriyanto on vocals, Abdullah 'Aboudi' on lead guitar, alongside with Andrew Athallahsyah Rafi on guitar, Azka Kautsar on bass, and M Evan 'Ncek' Kusuma Adji on drums.
With a sound that draws inspiration from The Strokes to the brooding intensity of Interpol, Dandarah formed in late 2023 and released the first single in a compilation album in early 2023 entitled "over the bridge". the song was made as a form of their seriousness in music. In early 2024, Dandarah made an EP entitled "Man Of Metropolis" which contains 5 tracks combining elements of garage rock and a touch of catchy pop, which they released on March 31, 2024.
