Danger Inc. is a pop punk trio from Sacramento comprised of DIY enthusiasts. They formed when friends Jessica Tercero (guitar/vocals) and Danny Barkley (bass/vocals) were joined at an open mic by David Tercero (drums), and the vibe just simply worked. They spent time developing a foundation before dropping their debut EP <a href="spotify:album:7J7FmLjKuV7qxNPdTzBkRn" data-name="Enjoy Your Cat and Your Loneliness">Enjoy Your Cat and Your Loneliness</a> in 2015.
With an energetic yet raw emotional style in their songs, they found their footing in the community. 2018 brought their second EP <a href="spotify:album:1ErT5RcbSHPAO5XXp8PgFU" data-name="You Don't Tell Me">You Don't Tell Me</a>, which was distributed by Lavasocks Records (<a href="spotify:artist:6yFGFQwV5f000pgDphVnaB" data-name="Sad Girlz Club">Sad Girlz Club</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6YQSdlb6vIvQktsVMZtl4W" data-name="Slumped">Slumped</a>). The release helped them become regulars at the legendary 926 Gilman, where they played with bands like <a href="spotify:artist:4bcaz6nXnH8LTRiXALe8XV" data-name="Jawbreaker">Jawbreaker</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4oPMm2idleIKLdBWgZilSi" data-name="T.S.O.L.">T.S.O.L.</a> and appeared on two cover compilations of notable Gilman bands <a href="spotify:artist:7oPftvlwr6VrsViSDV7fJY" data-name="Green Day">Green Day</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6xTk3EK5T9UzudENVvu9YB" data-name="Rancid">Rancid</a>, put out by Lavasocks and Sell The Heart Records (<a href="spotify:artist:6lJSu1HwPKz6sUgUkPfii2" data-name="Decent Criminal">Decent Criminal</a>).
Their EP <a href="spotify:album:7mExY1HCSnnIVJYTposGnr" data-name="Up & Away">Up & Away</a> was released by Lavasocks in 2019 and continued to show their growth as songwriters. Soon after they appeared on <a href="spotify:album:51oUq3RtdDIcBudLPcgolB" data-name="Friendsplit">Friendsplit</a>, a four-way split alongside <a href="spotify:artist:7zVG8565LATGJCC8gacuFm" data-name="Sarchasm">Sarchasm</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6aUzts6HmxY9CVr6U5hILq" data-name="Grumpster">Grumpster</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6MTaikrEtJ6qZywvctP7Hz" data-name="Get Married">Get Married</a> that was released on Asian Man Records. A west coast tour in support of the split followed.
With live shows canceled in 2020, they performed a handful of virtual sets, including in support of The FEST. In late 2021 they entered the studio at District Recording with Ryan Perras (<a href="spotify:artist:79UcvR6kEruu3AQ0gYOJUk" data-name="The Atom Age">The Atom Age</a>) to record their next release. The album is expected within the next year, and they are excited to play live shows again soon.
