Daniel Ezra is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from San Diego, CA. Known as a prolific session player, Daniel has collaborated with a variety of projects including Dani Bell & The Tarantist, Birdy Bardot, Midnight Pine, Rebecca Jade & The Cold Fact, and Louis XIV.
After a decade of collaboration and touring, Daniel launched a solo project in 2022 for the dozens of songs he wrote and recorded over the years. In 2023 he recruited John Robertson, Joshua Smith, and Kyle Dramer to perform these songs live, and released his debut EP, Lazy Ways. The songs on this EP are cinematic and deeply personal, inspired by the storytelling of Courtney Barnett, the unfiltered honesty of John Lennon's solo work, as well as the retro garage rock of Jake Bugg and Ty Segall.
