Daniel Hearn's original music has been compared to a car crash between Death Cab for Cutie and Jack Johnson. His lyrics, which range from satirical to serious to downright silly, might appeal to fans of Alec Benjamin, Bo Burnham, Ben Folds and Kacey Musgraves. His first attempt at a music career was put on pause in 2015, when misguided attempts at creative inspiration and a relationship worthy of the tv show COPS combined to kill the dream of becoming an artist and replace it with the dream of baseline emotional stability. Following the achievement of this goal half a decade later, he returned to the music world with the release of Stow Me Away in 2022. Since then, he has been recording and performing original music that runs the emotional gamut from joy to despair.
